Here at the Cathedral our OCIA program is part of our adult faith formation. Join us for the CREDO series.
This series is for adults who wish to become Catholic, those Catholics who are seeking Confirmation or First Holy Communion, or any adult in the parish who wants to learn more about our beautiful Catholic faith!
Anyone is welcome to come to class who is merely curious about the faith, without any commitment.
CREDO takes place in the Cathedral basement (entrance off of Logan) on Wednesday nights 6:30-8pm from September until Pentecost each year.
OCIA is a process of prayer, reflection, and learning that allows for the continual discernment of God’s will in our lives. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a process for adults who wish to become Catholic.
Many people inquire about becoming Catholic for many different reasons. The general process that the Catholic Church uses to initiate adults is based on the same process that Christians used during early centuries of Christianity. Full initiation takes place with the reception of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion.
God has called people by name to come together on a journey of faith.
Each class is livestreamed on YouTube and then uploaded. So tune in, go back on parts you want to spend more time with, or catch up on classes missed. Someone who attends class entirely through the YouTube videos will not be considered as part of our program and will not enter the Church.
